Bernier has been quiet in the second round series against the Utah Grizzlies with just one goal as Victoria falls one game back after losing 7-5 Thursday.

Bio: Bernier was originally selected by Vancouver (60th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. He has played 23 games for Manitoba this season and collected two points and 16 penalty minutes. Last season, he split time between the Moose and the ECHL’s Columbia Inferno. In 44 games with the Inferno, Bernier earned 23 points (6 goals, 17 assists). In four seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), he notched 164 points in 239 regular season games and 30 points in 40 playoff games between the Halifax Mooseheads and the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles. He was assigned to Victoria on January 3, 2007 by the Manitoba Moose while under contract with the Vancouver Canucks.
