Mattias and his wife Linda have two children, Viktor and Hannah....Lives in Vancouver during the season and spends his summers in Sweden....Devotes his time to community initiatives including Canuck Place and Children’s Hospital….Growing up his boyhood idol was all-star defenceman Borje Salming....His greatest hockey moment was winning the Swedish League title with Lulea in 1995-96, the first time in the club’s history….Enjoys playing soccer.…Loves to cook, particularly Italian food.
