  • Sportsmanship Starts in the Stands Program

    Materials for the new parent educational program, Sportsmanship Starts in the Stands, are now available on the BC Hockey website. The program is designed to encourage positive parent behaviour in the rinks.

    Back by popular demand, the Vancouver Canucks in partnership with the PGA of British Columbia are proud to bring back Canucks Junior Golf Week presented by Odlum Brown Limited for the week of July 2-9, 2015.   • Nominations open for Pavel Bure Award

    If you are the coach of a young hockey player in PeeWee, Bantam or Midget who is truly valuable to your team we want to hear about them! The Pavel Bure Award rewards young BC hockey players who display leadership and sportsmanship both on and off the ice through demonstrating values such as integrity, passion, teamwork, and courage.


  • Registration opens for Female Jamboree

    This year’s Female Jamboree will take place at Burnaby 8 Rinks, March 20th – 22nd. The Canucks Female Jamboree provides an opportunity for over 150 female minor hockey players aged 5-13 to participate in a fun, non-competitive weekend of games and skills development.


  • Canucks have fun, prove worth at SuperSkills

    On Sunday, December 14th, The Canucks for Kids Fund SuperSkills, powered by Rogers, was held at Rogers Arena. It was an afternoon of family fun with the Vancouver Canucks as the players showcased their prowess in the annual skills competition.

    A great time was had by all at Canucks First Strides, presented by Chevrolet, where 80 lucky initiation and novice hockey players, aged 6 - 8, were selected for an on-ice skills development and team building seminar, led by qualified BC Hockey instructors.

    On December 13th the Vancouver Canucks, in partnership with BC Hockey and Hockey Canada, welcomed over 250 minor hockey coaches from around the lower mainland to Rogers Arena for Coaching Day in BC, presented by Tim Hortons.

    The Vancouver Canucks and BC Hockey are proud to announce the Canucks First Strides program, presented by Chevrolet, will be hosted at Rogers Arena on Thursday, January 29, 2015 this year.


  • Minor Hockey Weekend is Back

    On March 1st, Minor Hockey Weekend, presented by Save On Foods will provide an exciting opportunity for 14 lucky BC Minor Hockey teams to play a game on the home ice of their Vancouver Canucks. Each team will also get the chance to cheer on their home team at BC Place for the Heritage Classic.

  • BC Hockey, Canucks announce Bure Award

    In honour of the Russian Rocket, the Vancouver Canucks and BC Hockey announced the establishment of the Pavel Bure Award. The distinction will be awarded annually to Division 1 minor hockey players that exemplify integrity, passion, teamwork and courage.
