Jake Milford Canucks Charity Invitational
“The Jake” is proudly presented in Jake Milford’s memory. Jake was synonymous with hockey for over 50 years. After joining the Canucks in 1977, Jake held the post of General Manager for five seasons, and then served as Senior Vice-President for another two years before he succumbed to cancer.
The entire Canucks roster and members of the Canucks Alumni play in this charity golf tournament benefiting both the BC Hockey Benevolent Association (BCHBA) and the Canucks for Kids Fund.
In September 2012, the tournament raised more than $169,000.
