As the Manager of Premium Client Sales & Service for the Vancouver Canucks, Lisa McNabb is responsible for all aspects of sales, contracting, client relationships and service for Canucks Hockey, concerts and events held in suites and exclusive premium seating at Rogers Arena.
DAY TO DAY
Lisa deals with a variety of clients from decision makers of Fortune 500 companies to administrators of local corporations, to coaches of minor hockey teams. Having been with the Vancouver Canucks organization for 3 hockey seasons she was hired to compliment the new Premium Sales & Service department with the launch of a new Club, Rogers Arena’s first ‘all inclusive room’ called the Avaya Champions Club. In addition to this club and the Best Buy Club she is responsible for signing / contracting long term leases with Executive suite clients and one night rentals in Hospitality suites for hockey and concerts.
WHAT IT TAKES
A Sales Manager position for the Vancouver Canucks and Rogers Arena requires a person with the ability to multi-task and manage a very large database of clients and unimaginable high call volume. Being a strong negotiator, confident and the ability to keep calm and level-headed with the last minute changes, suite and seat sales, releases, and re-sales is crucial. This position requires someone to be sales focused with the ability to build rapport and strong business relationships quickly internally with other departments and externally with clients from all market segments. As well as being very operationally driven and be able to manage the administrative part of the job, which includes; mailings, data input, invoicing, ticket printing, account reconciliations, support with special set up and purchases for the suite night clients.
