Donations In Kind
The Vancouver Canucks are pleased to offer their support to numerous charitable groups and not-for-profit organizations in British Columbia through the donation of team merchandise and memorabilia to fundraising events.
The information below will detail the Canucks’ in-kind donation policy and guide you through the process of requesting a donation.
Which organizations are supported?
We support registered BC children's charities and not-for-profit groups that focus on:
- Public education
- The development of grassroots hockey
- Children's health and wellness
All requests must be for events which support a registered charity or not-for-profit group; events which support a single individual cannot be considered.
What types of items are offered?
We donate Canucks merchandise and memorabilia. This includes items such as fan packs, caps, t-shirts, player photos, hockey sticks, and jerseys. Please note that we are unable to provide autographed merchandise to every fundraising event.
How are items allotted?
The item that is donated is at the discretion of the hockey club. Considerations include: the type of fundraising event, the projected amount to be raised, and if the group has received a past donation. An additional deciding factor is the amount of requests received, as we have a limited number of items available each month.
How do you apply for a donation from the Vancouver Canucks?
Donation requests must be submitted on appropriate letterhead from the organization or charity by pdf or word document attachment in the online donation application form. Due to the volume of requests received, we must receive your request at least 6 weeks prior to your event.
** If your application was unsuccessful, you will receive a response in writing within 4 weeks of the receipt of your request.
Due to the volume of requests we receive, we are not able to discuss the status of your request over the phone.
Donated items are mailed or couriered out on the 20th of the month prior to the date of the fundraiser.
Before proceeding to the application form, please answer the following question to see if you are eligible for the program.
