We're going old-school in this edition of the mail bag as the balance of the workload in the department has shifted and the oldies have to jump in and pick up slack. It's worth repeating that under no circumstances will we take suggestions for the team, so please spare the letters regarding trade proposals, line combinations, etc... But remember, if you have something to say, please, get it off your chest!
Interested in integersI’m trying very hard to learn all the player’s numbers, sometimes hard to do watching games on TV, as the numbers are only on the BACK and SIDES of the uniform and helmet. The helmet at least should have their number also at the FRONT. When you are actually in the building watching a live game, it is sometimes hard to see the bunched up numbers half tucked into the shorts. Maybe centre the numbers more on the shoulder area??Also, it would be a help if the web-site and the web poll automatically included the player number in brackets whenever a player’s name is used. That way the number becomes automatically associated with the player. - Lauriepb, who is probably good at math

Thanks for the hard work that you guys put into the website, and making it an enjoyable place to read about our Canucks team.One thing that I especially enjoy is the King of the Rink series that you guys have been publishing since 2007. However, I noticed that there hasn't been a King of the Rink for Mason Raymond or Daniel Sedin. Muzzle McLeanBurrows ethics aside - what Maclean did was wrong! Please, please, please continue this boycott of HNIC for as long as it takes. I would love nothing more for the canucks to go deep into the playoffs, ignoring the CBC hatchetmen the whole time. The thought of the Canucks lifting the cup and then refusing to talk to HNIC reporters brings a sweet smile to my face. Will bad officiating hamper the Canucks road trip?
So lets just not be homers for a second and admit that the officiating in the last couple games at G.M. Place has been extremely favorable for the Canucks. Regarding the call against Buffalo and the other night with the slash on Hendrik, which was a very soft call and cost St. Louis the game.
I can only see that when Vancouver heads out on their big road trip, that the referees could be 'gunning' for them. Quite simply the league might be embarrassed and feel the need to 'even things up', due to no fault of Vancouver.
Or am I just being paranoid?

Hey, I've noticed that TSN never wrote a pregame or after game of the canucks as they usually do, are they currently boycotting reporting the canucks or is it a coincidence?
I know CBC and canucks were having it out so was thinking this might be related?
