BC Hockey Challenge
BC Hockey Team First and Penalty Free Challenges at Rogers Arena are free events for minor hockey boys and girls of all ages.
These two contest driven events allow hockey players and coaches in BC an opportunity to visit Rogers Arena and practice with their hockey heroes.
The TEAM First Contest is held yearly by BC Hockey and supported by the Vancouver Canucks. The program stands for ‘Together Everyone Achieves More’ and promotes safety and risk management. Minor hockey teams from around BC are challenged to examine their attitudes towards the principles of fair play. Players, team staff, parents and officials are able to look at their own actions and behaviors and ensure they are creating a safe and fun atmosphere.
The Penalty Free Challenge is a program that encourages minor hockey teams to use respect, integrity and fairness and to engage in fair play. Registered BC Hockey teams who play a penalty free game between given dates are eligible to submit their game sheet for a chance to win an on ice session at Rogers Arena.
