The Canucks for Kids Fund SuperSkills competition, powered by Rogers, returns for another year of family fun Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Rogers Arena.

Come see your Vancouver Canucks up close and watch them showcase their skills and agility as they go head to head in challenges like:

  • Fastest Skater Contest
  • Accuracy Shooting Challenge
  • Breakaway Relay
  • Puck Control Relay
  • Power Play
  • Hardest Shot
Net proceeds of the event go to the Canucks for Kids Fund and the NHLPA Goals & Dreams Fund.

Doors will open at 12:00 p.m. as the Canucks Alumni scrimmage gets underway featuring alumni including Orland Kurtenbach, Dave Babych and John Garrett. Fans are encouraged to come early to see their Canucks Alumni heroes skate at Rogers Arena before on-ice activities with the current Canucks begin at 1:00 p.m. Fans can also take part in the various concourse activities, including the opportunity to meet Canucks mascot Fin and many of his mascot friends.

Tickets for the 2013 Canucks for Kids Fund SuperSkills competition, powered by Rogers, go on sale Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 10:00 am. Tickets will be available online at ticketmaster.ca/skills, by phone at 1-855-523-6800 or through your favourite local minor hockey team. Tickets will also be available at Ticketmaster Ticket Centres and the Rogers Arena Box Office as of Thursday, January 31 at 10:00am.

SuperSkills 2012

Split up into two squads, Team White and Team Blue took part in six head to head competitions that showcased their skill and agility. Events included puck control relay, fastest skater, accuracy shooting, hardest shot, a breakaway relay and a power play event. Read more
