![]() Positively ReadyRyan Kesler’s evolutionary approach to all things hockey As one approaches each hockey season, there are the usual expectations among players and fans alike. While many hope for improvement in their play on the ice, others look to incorporate a different attitude with regard to other aspects of the game as well. Among this year’s Vancouver Canucks roster, there is one such noticeable difference. As his recent numbers attest, the play of Ryan Kesler has steadily improved. Alongside wife Michelle, Matt has spent his time fostering the growth of their children, expanding his knowledge of antiquing and giving back, through the charitable foundation they recently established, to Vancouver, the community they call home. It’s a scene he notes was unlikely to have previously occurred as readily. Known on the ice for his grace and skill, Henrik’s competitive nature extends well into his personal life.
