THE WINNERS MITCH RAINKIE, ChilliwackNOV.27.07 - Only one word can describe the experience - Amazing. The view is incredible, the sound is just as incredible, and the perspective you get from both makes the game that much more enjoyable. The experience puts into perspective how much effort goes into producing the games. Just watching the game in the stands or on TV, you don't understand the behind the scenes work involved, and it makes the experience all the better. Hearing just a few of the songs that I chose was an electrifying feeling. When the crowd gots going you get the feeling you chose the right song for them, and even during long stretches without whistles it just as enjoyable to relax and watch the game from the best seats in the house. I was happy enough to be watching the game, but the constant jokes between the guys on the headset made the time even better. Time flys by when you are enjoying the game, and the game ended before I could realize it. My only message for Dave is to keep that seat, beside him, warm, because after my graduation that job beside him will be my #1 application. Good luck to the other participants and I hope you guys have a great time life like I did. Congratulations to Brett Foster - the first ever Canucks music contest winner, who got to experience a night as the Canucks DJ at the Canucks vs. Red Wings game on Oct. 28! Read what he had to say.The view from the media area is absolutely amazing. The sound from the audio system is better up at that level too! I really got a kick out of the jokes (especially from John Ashbridge and Dave Levinson) on the head-set. It was very interesting to hear how the game is actually produced LIVE during the game. There is so much going on behind the scenes. This was a different perspective that not too many people are lucky enough to experience. I loved it! Keeping track of the songs played and watching the game was a bit of a challenge, but Dave – don’t hesitate to contact me if you need some assistance again. I could get very comfortable with this. Dave allowed me to cue up a couple of songs during the second and third period which was very cool – thanks.I was hoping to hear a few more of my songs, but I did understand that this was the Halloween game and Dave had to play the festive music too. The game was over before I knew it. I had a wonderful experience tonight and I hope the next three contest winners have as much fun as I did!
