Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the club has signed forward Linden Vey to a one-year contract.\r\n

Vancouver, BC – Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the club has signed forward Linden Vey to a one-year contract.

Vey, 22, appeared in 18 regular season games for the Los Angeles Kings in the 2013.14 season (his first in the NHL), recording five points (0-5-5) and zero penalty minutes.

The Wakaw, Saskatchewan native played in 43 regular season games for the Manchester Monarchs in the 2013.14 season, recording 48 points (14-34-48), 20 penalty minutes and a plus-8 rating. His 48 points and 34 assists ranked second on the club. It marked his third season in the AHL.

Vey was originally selected by Los Angeles in the fourth round, 96th overall in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
