Canucks acquire Linden Vey from Kings
\r\nVancouver, BC \u2013 Vancouver Canucks General Manager, Jim Benning announced today that the club has acquired right wing Linden Vey from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for Vancouver\u2019s 50th selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.

Vancouver, BC – Vancouver Canucks General Manager, Jim Benning announced today that the club has acquired right wing Linden Vey from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for Vancouver’s 50th selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.

Vey, 22, recorded five points (0-5-5) in 18 games with Los Angeles and 48 points (14-34-48) in 43 games with the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League during the 2013.14 season. The six-foot, 189-pound native of Wakaw, Saskatchewan was named to the WHL East First All-Star Team in 2011 while playing for the Medecine Hat Tigers. Vey was drafted by Los Angeles 96th overall in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
