Canucks re-assign Joacim Eriksson to Comets
Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks President & General Manager Michael D. Gillis announced today that the Canucks have re-assigned goaltender Joacim Eriksson to the AHL Utica Comets.
Eriksson, 23, has played in one game with the Vancouver Canucks, recording 36 minutes and 25 saves against the Anaheim Ducks. The Gavle, Sweden native played in 20 games with Utica this season, building a record of 8-10-1, a 0.907 save percentage and a 2.77 GAA. The 6’1”, 189-pound goaltender has also posted two shutouts this season.
