- Belleville Bulls captain and Canucks first rounder, Brendan Gaunce scored his 25th goal of the season as the Bulls won 3-0 against the Barrie Colts Monday night, taking the lead of the OHL’s Eastern Conference.
- Things didn’t go as smoothly for Evan McEneny (0 points, -1) and Frank Corrado (0 points, 4 PIM) as the Kitchener Rangers dropped their Monday nighter with the Guelph Storm 5-3.
- And in the ECHL, the Kalamazoo Wings, despite being short two men including Wesley Myron, fought off the Cincinnati Cyclones 4-1. Yann Sauve and Alexandre Grenier were held pointless.
