- The Chicago Wolves were 1-1 over the weekend in Southern Ontario, blanking Hamilton 3-0 with Kevin Connauton breaking a 30 game goalless streak before dropping Saturday’s tilt with the Marlies 4-2. Bill Sweatt and Andrew Gordon each scored in the losing cause.
- Brendan Gaunce had three points (1-2) over the weekend in two Belleville Bulls wins. Also in the OHL, Frankie Corrado keeps rolling along with points both Kitchener Rangers games. He now has 37 points in 55 games.
- And it was tough weekend for Nicklas Jensen as his Danish Men’s National squad failed to qualify for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.
