Rapid Fire
- Two goals from Bill Sweatt paced the Chicago Wolves to a 3-1 win over the Houston Aeros on Saturday night. Joe Cannata turned away 21 shots for his second victory of the season. It was a solid bounce back game from the Wolves, who dropped their Friday night tilt 6-4 to the Texas Stars.
- It was an up and down weekend for the Canucks OHL prospects. Frank Corrado and Evan McEneny’s Kitchener Rangers picked up two wins in a busy three game weekend. Corrado picked up a single assist with his teammate McEneny notching a pair.
- “Well I never knew magic existed until I played with the Sedins. Now I know wizards are real.” The UBC Thunderbirds men’s hockey team has got some pretty funny guys. Here's their thank you video to the Canucks after practicing with them through the lockout.
