Pat Quinn among Order of Canada recipients
Pat Quinn, former Vancouver Canucks player, coach and general manager, was bestowed with the Order of Canada at an investiture ceremony at Rideau Hall in Ottawa Friday morning.
The two-time NHL Coach of the Year, who led the Canucks to the Stanley Cup Final in 1994, was one of 44 recipients awarded the honour by His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, to recognize a lifetime of outstanding achievement, dedication to the community and service to the nation.
