Canucks to support literacy September 20th on Raise-a-Reader day

PrintVANCOUVER, B.C. - The Vancouver Canucks are proud to announce their participation in the 16th annual Raise-A-Reader Day on Thursday, September 20th in support of literacy. Canucks alumni, team personnel and mascot Fin will join personalities from the B.C. Lions, Vancouver Whitecaps, Vancouver Giants, Vancouver Canadians and local celebrities, along with hundreds of volunteers stationed on streets throughout the city.
A special Raise-A-Reader edition of The Vancouver Sun will be exchanged for donations throughout the day with all proceeds allocated to the Canucks for Kids Fund granted to the Canucks Family Education Centre.
