Canucks release regional broadcast schedule
Sportsnet will televise 57 games in 2012.13.
Vancouver, B.C. – The Vancouver Canucks in partnership with Sportsnet announced their regional broadcast schedule today for the 2012.13 season. A total of 57 games are scheduled for broadcast on Sportsnet plus an additional three pre-season games. All 82 regular season Canucks games will be televised in 2012.13 with 25 national and 57 regional broadcasts.
The regional broadcast schedule includes 48 games on Sportsnet Pacific and nine games on Sportsnet Vancouver Hockey, the Sportsnet ONE companion channel. Every game will be broadcast in high definition. The first Sportsnet Pacific broadcast of the 2012.13 season begins on Monday, October 15th at 7:00 p.m. when Vancouver hosts the Carolina Hurricanes. Pre-season Sportsnet broadcasts begin on Monday, September 24th at 7:00 p.m. when the Canucks host the Calgary Flames at Rogers Arena. Each and every Sportsnet game will feature play-by-play announcer John Shorthouse alongside analyst John Garrett and host Dan Murphy.
Vancouver’s regular season broadcast schedule on Sportsnet Pacific and Sportsnet Vancouver Hockey will feature 15 divisional match-ups, five games against Original Six opponents and a New Year’s Eve match-up against the St. Louis Blues. The Sportsnet broadcast schedule will conclude on the last game of the season, April 11th as the Canucks host the Edmonton Oilers at 7 p.m.
