Canucks release 2012.13 regular season schedule
Season opens October 11 at Calgary... Home opener October 13 vs. Edmonton.
VANCOUVER, B.C., — The Vancouver Canucks, in conjunction with the National Hockey League, released their 2012.13 regular season schedule today. The Canucks regular season opens with an away game at Calgary on Thursday, October 11th at 6:00 pm Pacific; the home opener is the next scheduled game on Saturday, October 13th at 7:00 pm versus Edmonton at Rogers Arena.
The 2012.13 Canucks schedule features games versus every NHL team. Vancouver will play six games against each Northwest Division club (24 total) and four games against each of the 10 non-divisional clubs in the Western Conference (40 total). The remaining 18 games are split into nine home and nine away games all against Eastern Conference opponents of which six are versus Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal each with home and away games.
The Canucks schedule is highlighted by a number of marquee match-ups at Rogers Arena this season including: the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday, November 3rd, Ottawa Senators on Saturday, December 8th, Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday, December 15th and 2012 Stanley Cup Champions the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday, February 17th.

The 2012.13 Canucks schedule features 11 back-to-back series including three home and road series. The longest home stand is five games from December 2nd – 8th; two five-game road trips mark the longest time Vancouver will be away from Rogers Arena with the first from October 18th – 25th and the second November 22nd – 29th.
The 2012.13 schedule includes 15 home stands and 15 road trips. The busiest day of the week is Thursday with the Canucks scheduled to play 21 games followed by 15 Saturday games.
