VANCOUVER, B.C. – The Canucks for Kids Fund (CFKF), in conjunction with General Motors of Canada, are proud to announce that Ray Holt, 90, of Vancouver, BC, has won the 2012 Telethon Car Draw. In 2011.12, more than $1.3 million was raised during the 22nd annual Canucks for Kids Fund Telethon, presented by Chevrolet, with all proceeds benefitting the Canucks for Kids Fund.

“My wife and I always from the very first days tried to contribute to Canuck Place and the Canucks for Kids Fund every year. I love hockey and love helping kids. I would do anything to help,” said Holt. “I am 90 and have never won anything in my life—except my wife.”

The Canucks for Kids Fund is in its 26th year of giving back to children’s charities in British Columbia and has given more than $37 million in that span. The Canucks for Kids Fund is dedicated to supporting children’s charities in our province. Its core beneficiaries and programs include Canucks Autism Network, Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, CFEC, the Canucks Centre for BC Hockey and a number of educational programs.
