Home, sweet home.
The Vancouver Canucks are enjoying a much deserved day off Sunday after a grueling road trip that had them play four games in six nights. There were some highs, some lows and a lot of hilarity between teammates, who are primed for another playoff run to remember. A fourth consecutive Northwest Division championship is proof of that.
To help put their recent expedition in context, here’s a look at the raw numbers of the Canucks' 10th road trip of the year:
4 – Cities visited during the eight-day trip.
7,000 – Approximate kilometres flown by the Canucks on board their Air Canada charter, aka Air Canucks.
2,308 – Kilometres from Vancouver to Minnesota during the longest flight of the trip.
4 – Games in six days; Vancouver went 2-1-1.

5 – Goals scored over the final 1:21:40 and a 2-0-0 record to end the trip.
7 – Cat calls Chris Higgins laughed his way through during his post-game interview after scoring the game-winner in Colorado. The boys were teasing him about his abs.
5,000 – Sit-ups required, per day, for 10 years, for someone with a one-pack, like me, to get Higgins' abs.

18 – NCAA men’s basketball teams eliminated from the March Madness tournament while the Canucks were on the road.
