Tanev, 22, has played 25 games with the Wolves this season and recorded 12 points (0-12-12) with a +5 rating in addition to playing three games with the Canucks. The Toronto, Ontario native has appeared in 32 career NHL games and five NHL playoff games with the Vancouver Canucks. In 2010.11, he collected his first NHL point and registered 32 blocked shots in the regular season and 11 blocked shots in the playoffs.
The 6’0", 185-pound defenceman was first signed by Vancouver on May 31, 2010.
