Canucks Sports & Entertainment announces partnership with the Fan Zoo
Vancouver B.C.– Canucks Sports & Entertainment today announced a partnership with The Fan Zoo, a Vancouver-based sports memorabilia company. The partnership will better enable Canucks Sports & Entertainment to provide autographed sports memorabilia to fans, while The Fan Zoo will become a corporate partner of both the hockey club and Rogers Arena.
Under the new partnership, The Fan Zoo will be hosting auctions at Rogers Arena for each Canucks game at four different locations throughout the concourse. For the first time, auction items will be accessible through a mobile online application. The selection of hockey memorabilia will change each game and include authentic autographed merchandise from Canucks players, visiting teams as well as unique and limited edition offers.
“We’re honoured to be partnering with the Vancouver Canucks and Rogers Arena,” said Bobby Atwal, president of The Fan Zoo. “We’re all about servicing the hockey community and giving back to the fans.”
For the first time, Canucks fans watching at home will also be able to bid on auction items by visiting www.thefanzoo.com/auction. Fans can simply sign up to bid using their mobile phones and they’ll have the same access to auction items as the more than 18,000 guests in Rogers Arena, right up until the end of the game. Fans will also have access to select “Buy Now” items at each game. All items come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
“We are pleased to have The Fan Zoo join our corporate partnership family and look forward to working with them to provide our fans with access to autographed hockey memorabilia at Rogers Arena,” said Victor de Bonis, Chief Operating Officer, Canucks Sports & Entertainment, and Alternate Governor, NHL. “Hockey fans will now have greater access to official memorabilia at Rogers Arena and online.”
Hockey fans can benefit from the new partnership starting January 15. For more information visit www.thefanzoo.com.
