Vancouver, B.C. – The Vancouver Canucks announced today that they will host Fan Appreciation Night featuring “Jerseys Off Our Backs” this Wednesday, December 21st versus the Detroit Red Wings at Rogers Arena.

Fan Appreciation Night is an annual in-game event held to celebrate the passion and support of Vancouver Canucks fans. The post-game “Jerseys Off Our Backs” presentation by Vancouver Canucks players will see 24 lucky fans receive game-worn sweaters as a thank you for their support. Fans are chosen by random draw and escorted on-ice at the conclusion of the game.

Each fan in attendance will receive a commemorative poster from the Canucks prior to puck drop. Fan Appreciation Night also offers Canucks fans attending the game the chance to win a number of great prizes throughout the course of the game. Prizing available includes an Air Canada flight for two to anywhere in North America, 10 pairs of tickets to upcoming Canucks home games care of the Vancouver Canucks Kids Club Presented by Save-On-Foods, a $250 gift card to Best Buy, a Keurig Gourmet Brewing System from Van Houtte, Esso gift packs, Boston Pizza gift cards, Pizza Hut party packages, Pepsi/Frito Lay’s gift packs, Tim Hortons prize packages, BCAA memberships and a River Rock VIP package including one night in a Penthouse suite, a $250 gift card at Tramontos restaurant and breakfast for two. 10,000 lucky fans will also receive a bag of Frito Lay’s chips upon exit at the end of the game.
