Canucks assign Steve Reinprecht to Chicago Wolves

Vancouver, B.C. – Vancouver Canucks President and General Manager Mike Gillis announced today that the Canucks have assigned centre Steve Reinprecht to the AHL Chicago Wolves. Reinprecht, alongside David Booth, was acquired by the Canucks from the Florida Panthers on October 22, 2011.

Reinprecht, 35, appeared in five games for the San Antonio Rampage in 2011.12. He split the 2010.11 season between the Florida Panthers, collecting 10 points (4-6-10) in 29 NHL games, and the Mannheim Eagles, recording 13 points (4-9-13) in 18 games.
