VANCOUVER, B.C., — The Vancouver Canucks announced today that fans will be invited to watch an NHL practice at Rogers Arena on Saturday, October 8th at 10:00 am.

Tickets to attend this Open Practice, presented by BCAA, will be available beginning Tuesday, September 27th at 10:00 am. There is no charge for admission to Open Practice however tickets are required for entry and can be reserved through Ticketmaster Charge-By-Phone at 1-855-523-6800 or online at www.ticketmaster.ca. Tickets will also be available at Ticketmaster Ticket Centres and the Rogers Arena Box Office as of Wednesday, September 28th. A handling fee of $6.00 will be accompanied with each order. There is a limit of four tickets per household.

Fans will have the opportunity to watch their favourite Canucks players take to the ice as they prepare for the season’s first road trip. Those attending are encouraged to arrive early to participate in the pre-practice concourse activities and opportunities when doors open at 9:00 am. Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to take a photograph with four major NHL trophies, including the Art Ross Trophy, Frank J. Selke Trophy, Presidents’ Trophy and Clarence Campbell Trophy. Those wishing to take a photo with a trophy must provide their own camera and are asked to make a donation to the Canucks for Kids Fund. At the conclusion of the event, the Canucks will be giving out great prizes including autographed sticks to randomly selected fans. The festivities will also include appearances by FIN, the Canucks Mascot.
