Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Canucks 1994 Stanley Cup contenders are coming home. More than two dozen players, coaches and media members who made the historic trip all the way to Game 7 of the 1994 Stanley Cup Final will be holding a '94 Stanley Cup Reunion at The River Rock Casino (Lobby area) on Monday, May 23rd from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.

Honoured participants including team captain Trevor Linden, goaltender Kirk McLean, snipers Greg Adams and Cliff Ronning, defencemen Dave Babych and Dana Murzyn, coaches Pat Quinn and Ron Smith, have already confirmed their attendance. So have such well-remembered playoff heroes as Gino Odjick, Murray Craven, Jeff Brown, Sergio Momesso, Martin Gelinas, Geoff Courtnall and coach Glen Hanlon

Many of the '94 team members will be returning to Vancouver as guest participants in the Haywood Securities/Vancouver Canucks Alumni 2011 Golf Classic, presented by River Rock Casino, being held the following day at Morgan Creek Golf Course in Surrey, benefitting The BC Hockey Benevolent Association (Canuck Alumni), Canuck Place and Queen's Park Healthcare Foundation.

It's going to be an exciting and rewarding trip down hockey's "Memory Lane" on the Victoria Day holiday - for players and fans alike - when the boys from '94 get together to exchange a few laughs and a lot of good memories ... then tee off to help raise funds for a number of deserving, Lower Mainland-based charitable causes.
