Round 1 single game playoff tickets on sale April 2
Vancouver, B.C. – The Vancouver Canucks announced today that single game tickets for all home games in Round 1 of the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs will go on sale via phone and internet only on Saturday, April 2nd at 10:00 am. Fans can purchase tickets online at www.ticketmaster.ca/canucks, or by calling Ticketmaster at 1-855-523-6800. Tickets will be available at the Rogers Arena Box Office and Ticketmaster Ticket Centres as of Monday, April 4th based on availability to avoid disappointing fans who traditionally line up for hours without successfully purchasing tickets. Tickets will be distributed once the Round 1 game schedule is confirmed and announced.
Ticket prices for Round 1 begin at $90. Based on availability, each household will be eligible to purchase a maximum of six tickets per game.
Fans unable to secure tickets on the on-sale date are encouraged to sign up for the Last Minute Tickets Club to receive e-mail notices when tickets are released for purchase (canucks.com/lastminute) or check Ticketmaster every Monday morning for great seats released for the game(s) in that week. Holds are also released within 48 hours of the game day up until puck-drop. For more information on tickets, please go to canucks.com/tickets. Single game tickets purchased through Ticketmaster for playoff games not played in the first round will automatically be refunded at point of purchase.
Tickets for confirmed games may also be obtained through the Prime Seat Club once the Round 1 game schedule is announced and can be accessed at canucks.com/primeseatclub. The Canucks Prime Seat Club is a secure site where Season Ticket Holders can sell their seats for games they cannot or choose not to attend.
All Canucks Ticket Holders, including Blue Line wait list members, are provided the opportunity to purchase their playoff tickets in advance of the public on-sale as part of their benefits package.
Vancouver’s postseason schedule and opponent for the Western Conference Quarter-Final has yet to be determined. An announcement is expected after the regular season concludes on Sunday, April 10th.
