New exhibit unveiled at Rogers Arena
Roberto Luongo displays gold medal at the official opening
Vancouver, B.C. - Canucks Sports & Entertainment unveiled a new exhibit at Rogers Arena commemorating the one year anniversary of Team Canada’s gold medal game. Vancouver Canucks goaltender and Team Canada gold medalist Roberto Luongo helped officially unveil the exhibit showcasing his gold medal in a photo opportunity at Rogers Arena.
The commemorative exhibit is located in section 317A and features authentic artifacts including an Olympic torch, hockey stick and goalie mask. Centered in the exhibit is an iconic photo of Luongo waving the Canadian flag in celebration after Team Canada’s gold medal victory.
Images and video display capturing the Men’s and Women’s teams’ most memorable moments are featured throughout the exhibit re-living the excitement of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver.
