Pee-wee team to shadow Canucks on game day during CBC's Hockey Day in Canada
Winning team selected through the Canucks Centre Poster Contest
Vancouver, BC – The Vancouver Canucks, BC Hockey and Hockey Night in Canada are pleased to announce the Grand Forks PeeWee Rep Bruins as the winner of the Canucks Centre Poster Contest. The Canucks Centre Poster Contest invited PeeWee and Bantam minor hockey teams to submit posters celebrating their team/association’s history and pride to win a chance to shadow the Vancouver Canucks on Hockey Day in Canada on February 12th, 2011.
As the winners, The Grand Forks Bruins will join the Vancouver Canucks at Rogers Arena on February 12th, 2011 as they take on the Calgary Flames. The team’s exciting day will include watching morning skate, eating a game-day meal, tickets to the game and interacting with members of the Canucks. They will also be featured on Hockey Night in Canada. Travel and accommodation will be provided by the Vancouver Canucks and their visit will be documented by Canucks TV.
