Canucks recall Lee Sweatt

Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks President and General Manager Mike Gillis announced today that defenceman Lee Sweatt has been recalled from the Manitoba Moose of the AHL. Sergei Shirokov has been reassigned to Manitoba.

Sweatt, 25, has appeared in 41 games for the Moose this season, recording 14 points (5-9-14) and a +15 rating.

Shirokov has split the season between the Moose and Canucks in 2010-11. He notched his first career NHL goal and played in two NHL games this season.
