Vancouver, B.C. – Vancouver Canucks President & General Manager, Mike Gillis, announced today the recall of defenceman, Chris Tanev from the Manitoba Moose.
Tanev, 21, has recorded nine points (1-8-9) and 16 penalty minutes through 39 games played with Manitoba in his rookie AHL season.
The 6’2”, 199 lbs., native of Toronto, Ontario signed with Vancouver as a free agent on May 31, 2010.
