Canucks re-assign Guillaume Desbiens to Manitoba

Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks President & General Manager Mike Gillis announced today that the Canucks have re-assigned right wing Guillaume Desbiens to the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.
Desbiens, 25, has played in 12 games with the Canucks this season, collecting 10 penalty minutes. In one game with Vancouver in 2009.10, the 6’2”, 210 lbs forward registered two penalty minutes. In 145 games with the Manitoba Moose, he has registered 81 points (40-41-81) and 302 penalty minutes.
The Alma, QC, native was originally acquired by Vancouver as a free agent on July 22, 2009.
