Canucks recall Jonas Andersson

The 6’2”, 209 lb forward has appeared in five NHL games and collected two penalty minutes while on the roster of the Nashville Predators. A native of Lidingo, SWE, Andersson played nine games for Sweden at the World Championships, registering six goals, second in goals scored in the tournament, and helping capture a bronze medal. This season he has played in 12 games with the Manitoba Moose, recording 6 points (3-3-6).
Andersson was originally selected by the Nashville Predators 33rd overall in the second round of the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. He was acquired by the Vancouver Canucks on October 5, 2010.
