Canucks recall centre Mario Bliznak

Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks President and General Manager Mike Gillis announced today that centre Mario Bliznak has been recalled from the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.
Bliznak, 23, has appeared in 13 games for the Moose this season, recording four points (1-3-4) and four penalty minutes. He has played in two career NHL games, both with Vancouver in the 2009.10 season.
The Trencin, Slovakia native was originally drafted 205th overall in the seventh round of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft by the Vancouver Canucks.
