Canucks to launch 40th Anniversary celebration Oct. 9th
Vancouver, B.C. – The Vancouver Canucks announced today that single game tickets for the 2010.11 season will go on sale Friday, September 10th at 10:00 am PT coinciding with the National Hockey League on-sale date. Historically, tickets have sold out quickly following the on-sale date. Fans can purchase tickets on-line at ticketmaster.ca/canucks, or by calling Ticketmaster at (604) 280-4400. Tickets will be available at Ticketmaster Ticket Centres and the Rogers Arena Box Office starting Monday, September 13th.
The Canucks season ticket base remains capped at 17,000 seats after another 97%+ renewal campaign and a number of Blue Line wait list members coming on board this season. As a result, another sold out season is projected, which would increase the consecutive game sell-out streak to 349 games by the end of the 2010.11 regular season.
Fans unable to secure tickets on the on-sale date are encouraged to sign up for the Last Minute Tickets Club to receive email notices when tickets are released for purchase (canucks.com/lastminute) or check Ticketmaster regularly within 48 hours of game day up until puck-drop for ticket releases.

A limited number of hospitality suites are still available for single game rentals. Canucks Family Nights presented by Cineplex & QM/FM
Family Nights, sponsored by Cineplex & QM/FM, give families an affordable way to watch Canucks games live. This season, Family Nights return for 14 games. To enable more families to take advantage of this opportunity, most of these games fall on a weekend. A Family Night package starts at $180 and includes four upper bowl tickets, 10% off at the Canucks Team Store, and a Cineplex ‘Family Fun Pak’ consisting of 4 movie passes with 2 regular orders of popcorn. Since Family Night Packages have limited inventory and high demand, tickets will be sold online only through ticketmaster.ca on a monthly basis to give more families the opportunity to purchase tickets. Canucks Ticket Auction
Row 1 ice level seats for Markus Naslund’s jersey retirement night (Saturday, December 11th vs Tampa Bay Lightning) will be auctioned off at ticketmaster.ca starting Friday, September 10th. Bid increments will be $10 per seat. Go to ticketmaster.ca for details.

The Vancouver Canucks 40th Anniversary, presented by Chevrolet, HSBC Bank Canada, Playnow.com and Save-On-Foods, is a season long celebration that will honour the most significant Canucks and events since the inception of the team. During the 2010.11 season, the Vancouver Canucks will wear its original sweater for five games, launch the Ring of Honour to forever immortalize the franchise’s heroes in a permanent display inside of Rogers Arena, unveil ‘40 Stories-40 Nights’ celebrating an impactful Canucks memory for each home game and retire Markus Naslund’s number 19 to the rafters of Rogers Arena for only the third time in club history.
