Vancouver Canucks sign left wing Jeff Tambellini to 1-year deal

Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks President & General Manager Mike Gillis announced today that the Canucks have signed left wing Jeff Tambellini to a one-year deal. In keeping with club policy, terms were not disclosed.

Tambellini, 26, recorded 14 points (7-7-14) in 36 games with the New York Islanders in 2009.10. He has registered 46 points (18-28-46) in 180 career NHL games with the Islanders and Los Angeles Kings.

The Calgary, AB native was originally selected 27th overall in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft by the Los Angeles Kings.
