Jordan Schroeder invited to USA's national junior selection camp

Vancouver, B.C. – The Vancouver Canucks, in conjunction with Hockey USA, are proud to announce that centre Jordan Schroeder has been invited to participate in USA’s National Junior Selection camp from December 17-19, 2009 in Grand Forks, N.D.
Players and staff will travel to Grand Forks on Thursday, December 17. There will be an exhibition game against the University of North Dakota men’s ice hockey team on December 19.
Once the team is named at the conclusion of the selection camp in Grand Forks, USA’s National Junior Team will play a pre-competition game versus the Czech Republic prior to the 2010 IIHF World Junior Championship.
Schroeder is the only two-time U.S. National Junior Team member on this year’s preliminary roster.
USA has medaled at five IIHF World Junior Championships, including a gold medal performance in 2004. USA also has a silver medal and three bronze medals to date.
