Vancouver Canucks & Rogers Sportsnet Launch First High Definition Broadcast
Eight Canucks games will be broadcast throughout November and December on Rogers Sportsnet Pacific. Anticipated match-ups include four games versus divisional opponents, the Canucks return to the Honda Center in Anaheim to play the 2007 Stanley Cup Champions and a visit from Martin Brodeur and the New Jersey Devils.
“This is an exciting announcement for our organization and fans,” said Chris Zimmerman, Vancouver Canucks President & Chief Executive Officer. “Incorporating HD broadcasts into the schedule this season has been a priority for us and we look forward to seeing the enhanced quality HD brings and an overall more exciting fan experience.”
