VANCOUVER, B.C. – The Vancouver Canucks are proud to announce that the Ultimate Canucks Search will return for the 2007-08 season after a successful debut last year. The Ultimate Canucks Search will once again afford the opportunity for Canucks fans to showcase their talent and passion for the Vancouver Canucks through Canucks.com.

The Ultimate Canucks Search is made by the fans, for the fans. Video, photo and art submissions celebrating Canucks fans connection to the team will be judged by online voters. Fans are encouraged to vote for their favourite video submissions by using the Youtube rating system. Those submissions receiving the most votes will be eligible for a number of prizes including a Roberto Luongo-signed jersey, tickets to Canucks games and a Sony flatscreen television.

This year, the Ultimate Canucks Search will run for the duration of the 2007-08 season and will feature three rounds to enable more opportunities for fan-submissions. Fans will have the opportunity to enter a variety of media submissions in a wide-range of categories, including comedy, drama, documentary, animation and more.

The Ultimate Canucks Search received more than 1800 submissions from fans around the world last season and created many top-ten hits on YouTube worldwide.
