Canucks Recall Centre Brandon Reid
| Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks Senior Vice-President and General Manager Dave Nonis announced today that the Canucks have recalled centre Brandon Reid from the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.
Reid, 26, has appeared in three regular season games with the Canucks this season. With the Manitoba Moose this season, the 5'9", 190 lbs. centre played in 53 regular season games, recording 32 points (15-17-32) and 19 penalty minutes.
Reid has also played in four Calder Cup Playoff games with Manitoba, registering two assists and two penalty minutes. Reid has previously appeared in nine career NHL playoff games, all with the Canucks in 2002-03, registering one assist.
The Kirkland, Quebec-native was drafted by Vancouver 208th overall in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft.
