Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks Senior Vice President and General Manager Dave Nonis announced today that defenceman Yannick Tremblay has been recalled from the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.
Tremblay, 31, has played 12 games with the Canucks this season, recording one goal and two assists for a total of three points and 12 penalty minutes. As a member of Manitoba, the 6'2", 200 pound defenceman has played in five Calder Cup Playoff games, registering one assist and five penalty minutes. During the regular season, Tremblay tallied 33 points (12-21-33) and 40 penalty minutes in 45 games for the Moose.
The Pointe-Aux-Trembles, Quebec-native signed as a free agent with the Vancouver Canucks on July 28, 2006.
