Who on the team would you choose to be your partner on the Amazing Race? Someone who's well travelled, knowledgeable, calm under pressure... I'm probably going to choose Trevor Linden because he likes to read on the plane and he's a knowledgeable guy. I'd pick him absolutely. He would be a great partner. What is the best thing to happen to you on skates? My first game in the NHL at the Air Canada Centre against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Hockey Night in Canada - it doesn't get any better than that. And we won so it was even better. What's in your CD player? A lot of stuff - The Killers is one of my favourite bands right now. I've got a lot on my iPod, I run the iPod in the dressing room so I have a big mix. I have to take care of some of the few guys that like country, or a guy like Ryan Kesler that likes his hip hop and rap. There's Mattias that likes U2 and a guy like Trev that likes sounds of the 80s.
My smile because I smile a lot. I hope she says that anyway. Do you collect anything? Yes, stocks. I have a lot of stocks. I collect them then I sell them too. I buy and sell so I guess that's a collectable asset. What breakfast cereal do you eat? I don't eat cereal. My daily breakfast is egg whites, hash browns, and toast every morning with green tea. My wife always says it's so boring but it's my go-to. If you could have dinner with anyone, who would you choose? If it's my last meal, definitely my friends and family. But just one person... there's so many people, it's hard to choose. I'd like to sit down with Wayne Gretzky, he's always someone I'd like to meet. Sports figure I like is Tiger Woods or maybe some world figure would be interesting - not really sure who. I'd also really like to have a day or maybe a week with Warren Buffett - maybe he can teach me a thing or two.  Who would play you in a movie?Hmm... that's a really tough one. I really don't know. Can I get the next question? What is the worst locker-room smell? My Czech stall-mate next to me, Lukas Krajicek. (laughs) Just kidding. The worst locker-room smell is wet jerseys. The wet jerseys from the training staff smells like an old, wet dog. It's definitely the worst smell. |
