Canucks Recall Yannick Tremblay

Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks Senior Vice-President and General Manager Dave Nonis announced today that the Canucks have recalled defenceman Yannick Tremblay from the Manitoba Moose of the AHL. Tremblay, 31, has recorded three goals, three assists and 20 penalty minutes in the nine games he has played with the Moose this season. All three of Tremblay's goals have been scored on the power-play. Tremblay has played in 378 NHL regular season games, compiling 122 points (37-85-122) and 166 penalty minutes with Toronto and Atlanta.
The 6-foot-2, 200 lbs. native of Pointe-Aux-Trembles, Quebec, was signed by the Canucks as a free agent on July 28, 2006.
