Canucks Recall Jesse Schultz

Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks Senior Vice-President and General Manager Dave Nonis announced today that the Canucks have recalled right wing Jesse Schultz from the Manitoba Moose of the AHL. Schultz, 24, has recorded seven goals, seven assists (7-7-14) and 18 penalty minutes in 19 games with the Moose this season. He has recorded goals in the last three Moose games and has five goals in his last five games in Manitoba. Last season Schultz scored 37 goals with the Moose and had a team high 67 points (37-30-67) in 80 games.
The 5-foot-11, 190 lbs., native of Strasbourg, Saskatchewan, was signed by Vancouver as a free agent on July, 30, 2003.
