Canucks Re-Assign Alexander Edler

Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks Senior Vice President and General Manager Dave Nonis announced today that defenceman Alexander Edler has been re-assigned to the Manitoba Moose of the AHL. Edler, 20, played four games with the Canucks, including his career first NHL game at Colorado on November 4th. The Ostersund, Sweden native also recorded his first NHL point, an assist, versus Dallas in his second career game. Edler was selected by Vancouver 91st overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
