Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Canucks will once again attend the sold-out Sports Celebrities Festival on Wednesday November 15th, 2006 at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. This year's business casual event is held in support of the Canucks for Kids Fund and Special Olympics BC. Last year's event was very successful, having raised $250,000.

The Sports Celebrities Festival will feature members of the Vancouver Canucks, Canucks Alumni, BC Lions Alumni, Vancouver Whitecaps and Special Olympics BC athletes.

Prior to the dinner, Canucks players will partake in fan-interactive games, including table hockey, darts, car racing, autograph and photo sessions, and the time-honoured tradition of the 50/50 draw.
