On Thursday, August 24, Trevor Linden, Brendan Morrison, Markus Naslund, and Dave Nonis attended the YVR Golf for Kids annual golf tournament and gala. Also on hand was CAB Hall of Fame inductee, Bernie Pascall, who acted as the gala's emcee. YVR Golf for Kids has been supporting Lower Mainland children's charities since 1991 and the Canucks for Kids Fund is honoured to be one of its primary beneficiaries. In 2005, YVR Golf for Kids raised a record $378,500 in net proceeds for donation to children's charities. $260,000 was donated to the Canucks for Kids Fund in support of Canuck Place Children's Hospice and other Canucks for Kids Fund children's programs.
